We're all looking for healthy smoothie recipes for this summer right? Well, these fruit smoothies are simple and easy to make, with minimal ingredients! Natural and delicious, these healthy fruit smoothie recipes are hard to resist!

1. Classic Strawberry Banana

  • 1 Banana
  • 1.5 cups of Strawberries
  • ½ cup Vanilla Yogurt
  • 2 teaspoons of Honey

You can never go wrong with the classic combination of bananas and strawberries! Bananas are a great source of potassium, which helps blood pressure, as well as enhancing muscle strength and metabolism. Strawberries also offer health benefits, as they provide antioxidants and minerals which contribute to overall health. Vanilla yogurt also includes beneficial bacteria (if you buy the proper brand) and tons of vitamins. Lastly, honey is a good source of antioxidants and contains antibacterial properties.

2. Tropical Bliss

  • 1 cup of Raspberries
  • 1.5 cups of Pineapple
  • 1 cup of Mango
  • 0.5 cup of Banana

This fun tropical smoothie is not only delicious, but a great source of nutrition! Raspberries are rich in vitamins and fiber and are also known to improve memory! Pineapples help boost the immune system, strengthen bones, and have anti-inflammatory benefits. Mangoes help lower cholesterol and clear skin, as well as improve eye health.

3. Go Green

  • 1 cup of Spinach
  • ¾ cup of Coconut Milk
  • 1 cup of Banana
  • 1 cup of Frozen Pineapple

Green smoothies really popular right now because they're full of important nutrients. Coconut milk improves heart health by lowering cholesterol and blood pressure. It also helps build muscle and prevents fatigue. Meanwhile, spinach, like the banana, is rich in potassium, as well as iron. The vegetable contains lots of vitamin A, which is good for your eyes, and vitamin K, which helps strengthen bones.

4. Cherry Limeade

  • 1 cup of Cherries
  • 2-3 tablespoons of Lime Juice (or you can squeeze fresh limes)
  • ¾ cup of Almond Milk (or Soy Milk)
  • 1 cup of Frozen Peach

Inspired by intern Gina's love of Sonic's Cherry Limeades, this smoothie recipe is packed with healthy ingredients! Cherries help reduce belly fat and contain powerful antioxidants. They also promote better sleep, as they contain melatonin! Limes are good for digestion, weight loss, and eye health; they also help prevent fatigue and are rich in vitamin C! Meanwhile, peaches are a great source of calcium, iron, and potassium. You'll feel refreshed after drinking this healthy smoothie!

5. Pear & Blueberry

  • 1.5 cups of Blueberries
  • 1 Pear (sliced)
  • 1.5 cups of Vanilla Yogurt (or Blueberry Yogurt if you really love blueberry)

It may seem like an interesting combination, but pears and blueberries have many nutritional benefits! Blueberries contain a lot of fiber, vitamin K, and potassium. These berries are believed to contain the highest amount of antioxidants among common fruits. Pears also contain a lot of fiber, which helps you feel fuller for a longer period of time on less calories. This unique smoothie recipe is easy, quick, and delicious!
